Uniube pivot: brachiaria cover July vs August

Follow-up flight over the Uniube center pivot comparing July 24 and August 25, 2026 (32 days apart), over the 4.95 ha common to both flights. Result: brachiaria cover intact and 0 m² of isolated bare-soil failure on both dates — the East-sector weakness flagged in the first report turned out to be the access road and the pivot tower's wheel track, not bare soil.
Raw bare soil per sector dropped from 3.85% in July to 3.09% in August; in the East sector specifically, it went from 10.52% to 8.40% — always concentrated within 6 meters of the road (406 m² of compact patch in August, 100% adjacent to the road). Live-cover VARI went from +0.182 in July to +0.171 in August.
A drift control over 0.45 ha of road and roof (a surface that does not change) showed a -0.020 drop in VARI, larger than the -0.011 drop measured on the pasture — meaning that once instrument drift between flights is subtracted, brachiaria vigor is stable (+0.009), not declining. The July recommendation to test irrigation in the East sector was withdrawn.
